In 2022, CLTC Higher Education continued in its highly successful journey of placing a record number of
students in reputed education institutes overseas. Further, the visa approval rate is in the high nineties,
far above the industry average.
It was only in February 2022 that international borders started opening for international students
wishing to study overseas. Sadly, students in Sri Lanka, who were hoping to pursue their higher
education, in popular study destinations, had to overcome the obstacles laid on their path by the
economic crisis in Sri Lanka. As a result of the economic crisis, the rupee depreciated at a rate hitherto
not experienced. As a result, the value of the Sri Lankan Rupee plummeted. Transferring money
overseas became a real challenge. It is in midst of these obstacles that CLTC Higher Education marked a
record year.
This success is built on the strength of the knowledge, long years of experience, and unwavering
