– Salary threshold increase for skilled workers: The minimum salary threshold for UK skilled worker visas will increase from £26,200 to £ 38,700 per year, with health and care workers exempted.
– Shift from shortage occupation list (SOL):

The government plans to replace the existing Shortage Occupation List (SOL) with an Immigration Salary List. This will eliminate the 20% discount to the minimum salary for roles in shortage occupations.
– Dependant restrictions for postgraduates:

Foreign postgraduate students on non-research courses will no longer be able to bring family members to the UK.
– Review of Graduate Visa:
The Graduate Visa which allows international graduates to stay in the UK for an additional two years post-study is currently under review.
